Orders
By placing an order for Goods or Services with us, you agree to the terms of this Agreement, including the prices and delivery details provided at the time of your order.
Your order is subject to product availability and our acceptance. After you place an order online, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email to acknowledge receipt of your order. However, this does not guarantee that we can fulfill your order. We'll check availability and follow up with another email. If the goods are available and the order is correct, this email will confirm your order, delivery details, and price. If the goods are unavailable, we'll notify you by email.
Your order is officially accepted only when we notify you that it has been confirmed.
Any contract for the supply of Goods and/or Services is between you and AMD Glass.
All prices on the Website are accurate at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to change them in the future. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue any Goods or Services available for sale.
The contract for the Goods or Services is formed when we dispatch your order, and we will confirm this in writing. If any details are incorrect, you must notify us immediately. If your order is not accepted, we will inform you in writing and explain why.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete payment details when placing your order. Please also ensure that your address information is correct. We are not liable for orders with incorrect, incomplete, or misleading delivery information.
Before finalizing your order, please verify that the Goods meet your requirements, including the quantity and specifications.
It’s your responsibility to ensure the Goods are suitable for your intended purpose and compatible with your vehicle. All products must be installed and used according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Any advice we provide on product compatibility is a general recommendation. It’s your responsibility to confirm the product’s compatibility with your vehicle before purchasing.
We are not required to provide fitting advice or installation instructions. Any guidance provided is for reference only and followed at your own risk. If you're unsure about installation, we recommend consulting a professional or expert.
When paying by credit or debit card, you confirm that the card is yours and that you have sufficient funds to complete the purchase.
For in-person orders, you are responsible for covering any costs to return unwanted or faulty goods for inspection or replacement.
For phone orders, we are not liable for incorrect items ordered. It’s your responsibility to provide accurate order details, and to review the confirmation email we send after payment to ensure everything is correct.
Price and Payment
Prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery charges, which will be added to your order where applicable.
The total price for your order, including Goods, Services, and any delivery charges, will be confirmed when you place your order.
Full payment for all Goods and Services is required at the time of ordering, using one of the payment methods available on our Website.
Postage/Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Goods will be delivered to the address you provide when ordering. Delivery dates are not guaranteed under this Agreement.
You can find our delivery charges and times in the Delivery Information section. We may update these charges at any time without prior notice, and any changes will be reflected in the Delivery Information. For delivery costs outside the UK, please contact us directly.
Risk for the Goods transfers to you once they are delivered.
If you fail to accept delivery when the Goods are ready, or if we can’t deliver due to missing instructions, documentation, or necessary approvals, the Goods will be considered delivered. From that point, all risk and responsibility for the Goods pass to you.
If your order is returned due to missed delivery attempts or an incorrect/incomplete address, you’ll have 7 days to let us know how you'd like to proceed. Our team will also attempt to contact you. If you want the goods re-shipped, a second shipping fee will apply. If you prefer a refund and the items are in resellable condition, you’ll receive a refund minus the original shipping cost. If we don’t hear from you within 7 days, your order will be refunded automatically, minus the original shipping cost. You’ll also be responsible for any additional costs, such as storage or insurance, resulting from the failed delivery attempt.
You must ensure that proper arrangements, including labour and access, are made for safe delivery. We are not responsible for any damage, costs, or expenses caused by insufficient access or delivery arrangements.
You must check your order confirmation email for tracking details and contact the courier to confirm the delivery time if your goods are late. If you’re unable to reach the courier, notify us immediately if the goods haven’t been delivered or if only part of your order has arrived. Report any missing items within 3 days.
If your order is incomplete or incorrect, let us know within 3 days of delivery. We will either send the missing items at no extra cost or refund the value of the missing items.
We do not offer refunds for delivery charges on late deliveries.
If you receive an incorrect item, do not fit, modify, or alter it in any way. Any modifications will void the return or replacement eligibility.
Once the courier confirms delivery, responsibility for the order transfers to you. If the item is lost or stolen after delivery, you must provide a valid crime report to receive a replacement. This is required to process our claims with the courier and prevent fraudulent claims.
Cancel/Return
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. This 14-day period starts from the day you, or someone you’ve chosen (not the delivery company), receives the goods. If your order includes multiple items, the cancellation period begins when the last item is delivered.
If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible—ideally by emailing info@amd-glass.co.uk and including your order number. Clearly state that you want to cancel the order.
You can also use the cancellation form on our website. If you choose this option, we’ll confirm receipt of your cancellation by email without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, you just need to send your cancellation request before the 14-day period ends.
You must let us know within 14 days of receiving the item that you want to return it. After that, you have another 14 days to send it back.
If you cancel your order, we’ll refund all payments you’ve made, including standard delivery costs. However, if you chose a more expensive delivery option, we won’t refund the extra cost.
We may reduce your refund if the goods show signs of damage or use beyond what’s necessary to inspect them.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of one of the following, whichever comes first:
– We receive the returned goods
– You provide proof that the goods have been returned
– You inform us of your decision to cancel (if no goods were supplied)
You must return the Goods to us at the following address:
Unit 5 Lodges Business Park, 2-5 Oak Rd, Hull HU6 7PG.
Please do so without delay, and no later than 14 days after telling us you wish to cancel. You’ll meet the deadline as long as the items are sent back within the 14-day period.
All returned goods must be sent using a reliable courier, securely packaged in their original packaging, and delivered to the address provided above.
If you no longer want an item, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a refund or store credit, as long as it’s unopened, unused, and in resaleable condition.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the Goods.
You may be charged for any loss in value if the Goods were handled more than necessary to check their nature, features, or how they work.
If you asked us to start a Service during the cancellation period, you’ll need to pay for the portion of the Service that was completed before you cancelled.
Faulty / Damaged goods
If your items arrive damaged, please contact our sales team within 48 hours of delivery.
We’ll organise a return and replacement for the damaged goods. Just send the items back in their original packaging, and we’ll send out replacements.
If Goods are damaged during transit, our sole responsibility is to provide replacement items within a reasonable timeframe.
Important: Make sure to inspect all items before installation. We are not responsible for any costs related to fitting or removing products if a fault is discovered after installation, as there is a clear opportunity to check the items beforehand.
In some cases, we may ask you to provide proof of the damage, such as a photo or video, before returning the item. This request does not affect any legal rights you may have.
